Acadia National Park is located on the northeast coast of Maine in Hancock County


Getting Here

The closest major airport is Bangor, Maine.

From the South

1. Take I-95 north to Bangor, Maine. From Bangor take I-395 then Route 1A East to Ellsworth, Maine and from Ellsworth take Route 3 to Acadia National Park.

2. It is an approximate six hour drive from Boston, Massachusetts to Acadia National Park. From Boston take I-95 North to Augusta, Maine. From Augusta take Route 3 East to Ellsworth and then Acadia National Park.

From the North

Take I-95 South to Bangor, Maine and then take I-395 and 1A East to Ellsworth and then take Route 3 to Acadia.
