Hi - We are planning a trip in August and have never been to MDI. Is there any advantage or disadvantage to renting a vacation home off versus on the island? We plan to bike the carriage trails, etc and are wondering if using the free bus to carry bikes is a nuisance or does everybody do it? Thanks!
