Bugs are pretty bad in June. You'll need netting, etc., especially if you are tent camping. That said, however, most of Acadia is open - des monts deserts - or shoreline. If there is the slightest breeze in an open location, you will not be bothered by bugs. Most of the major campgrounds on MDI that I can think of, including the two in Acadia National Park, are near salt water and should be relatively bug free. A pretty good list of campgrounds is herehttp://www.acadiamagic.com/acadia-lodging/camping.html, but note that the ones in Orland, Sullivan, Steuben, and Bangor are not near Acadia National Park.
